Experience

The following is an abridged summary of some of Bob Webb’s experience with Webb + Co and with his previous firm.  Further details are available for each of these projects through the hyperlinks or by speaking with Bob.

  • Served as Project Manager, Group Consulting Engineer and since 2010 as Landowners’ Group Manager, for the creation of the Cornell Community, a 1,500-acre new urbanism community in the City of Markham.     
  • Led, for more than 25 years, technical teams providing a wide range of services to numerous clients to create new mixed-use communities in the former City of Toronto Railway Lands.
  • Worked with the Toronto Waterfront Revitalization Task Force and then Waterfront Toronto in its early days as a contributor to the vision for Toronto’s Waterfront that is now being realized.
  • Developed, as Project Leader and principal author, Making Choicesa landmark Province of Ontario study that examined the way new communities were being created and recommended strategies and standards for the creation of more livable communities.
  • Oversaw, as an active Partner-in-Charge, the design and construction of numerous mixed use green field communities in the GTA – many were large and all provided unique challenges requiring innovative approaches and constructive consultation with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Served as Partner-in-Charge and project advisor for the development of a servicing strategy, an amended EA and then design of an infrastructure solution for the communities of Holland Landing, Queensville and Sharon in the Town of East Gwillimbury.
